Should i see another doctor hsv 2?

i was told i have hsv2 ive seen emergancy room and i got meds for the infection then went to a femal clinic and she gave me sstrong ibprofen, but would it help to see another doctor? ive had tro take a wk off from work so far because i cant walk jst to much pain. if i do see another doctor is there anything they can perscribe to ease the pain a numbing cream stronger pain med or anything/ or is it going to be a waste of time?
