Could I have given myself HSV-1 down below?

Yesterday morning, for the first time (at least I think) in my life I woke up with a cold sore. I didn't know what it was initially but it was very small. Later that day I can't remember if I touched it or not and forgot to wash my hands. When I went to the bathroom later I had to touch my 'part' to pee. The blister on my lip was also very small at the time and was not open yet, but I am still afriad I could have spread it. From what I have read, this is highly unlikely. If I did pass it onto myself, when will I find out? Please help!!!
