Can you have hsv1 for 6 years and then test negative on a blood test?

i ve had cold sores since i was 12 which was 6 years ago wasnt tested for it but treat it for cold sore i juts also had another cold sore outbreak so i definitely know its a cold sore because i use abreva and treat it like one, i just had two blood tests for hsv 1 and then both came neg but positive for a recent infection i am now 34 weeks pregnant..it was taken at 30 weeks and the second one was at 32 weeks , husband was positive for hsv1 . im just scared that i dont have antibodies and couldve contract hsv1 genitally.
