HSV-1 question? What types of tests are there?

Okay so today I shared a chapstick with someone and then it turned into like 4 people and now I'm afraid I might get herpes type one so I was wondering is there any way to get tested by a docter? Besides bloodtests cause I hate needles and stuff :( please help! Thanks everyone!

Is it wrong of me to try and encourage someone to give our family their baby?

I have a really good friend who I go to school with. Her son is 18 and got a 17 year old pregnant. She found out when she was nearly 5 months along, and wants to have an abortion. My friend is trying to talk her out of it and into adoption, and my friend is considering taking the baby although she is 44 and in school to be a nurse, so she is very busy. My cousin has been on the waiting list for years. Her and her husband are Christian wonderful, stable people. They can't afford to have another IVF so are now looking for adoption, but have not been contacted even after waiting so long. Well I just popped off today and told her that I knew someone who would be really good parents, and she sounds interested. Is that wrong? The pregnant girl is supposed to contact me about the family but I don't want to pressure her, and I SURE don't want to tell my cousin yet.

Are fibroids harmfull ?

I suffered from serious back problems during mu pregnancy due to fibroids, since having my son I have continued to feel a strain in my which has effected me at work n find it hard to sleep at times, i am constanley having to explain to people tht I'm not pregnant as my stomach sticks out as if I were this has becaome quite upsetting for me. So I finally went to the doc who examined me her conclusion was tht I do have a large fibroid the size of a 14week pregnancy. I feel so Depresed now n worry this is going to effect my next pregnancy. Has anyone experienced this problem or had them removed. I have been told tht if I plan in having another child this may not b podsible as it will b IVf.

Is it acceptable what these doctors did?

Probably because you came back with meningitis 3 times in one year and have geniral herpes and they wanted to rule out HIV. However, you were 18 and that is the age of consent and they felt like your mother may have been pressuring you not to get it done and so when she left they asked you again. It would be inappropriate if you were a child but you were not.

What should I do now?help..?

You should start looking because it is difficult to find a job. By the time you find a job, you will probably be finished with the treatment.

I bleed durring sex and its pretty painful having sex?

I bleed after I have sex and sometimes having sex makes me come on my period faster cause I usually have regular periods that come once not twice a month, does hsv 2 have sometGing to do with that or a lot? Btw I did get tested for syphlis, hiv, chlymidia, and Gonorrhea so its not any of them.

So about a week ago I developed minor symptoms of strep throat and i originally thought it was because my brother and my sister had it. My sis was stupid and didn't finish her antibiotics so she gave them to me (only 8 pills) so the symptoms of strep throat went away for about a day and 1/2 then i woke up with a hard time swallowing and a 99.9 temp. on Friday morn. then I noticed a had what i think is a canker sore but i'm not sure on the top of my mouth btwn my gum and cheek, and its about half a cm long (just a guesstimate) and i took a flashlight to look at my throat and saw the white spots on my tonsils. I slept through saturday and it feels like my throat is getting better and my fever hasn't returned in a day and a half which is why i'm worried that it may be herpes because i have been sexually active, I have told my boyfriend about this, he said i have nothing to worry about and that he is clean, has never cheated, and has been tested, and I told him he doesn't have to lie to me because even if he is lying i still need to take car of myself and he said there's no need for that cause again "I have nothing to worry about" It just seems so odd that if it is strep, its going away and at the same time I have a canker sore or what i think to be a canker sore in my mouth. Do I have something to worry about? is it ok for strep to act this way? my mother made me an appointment to see if its strep Monday, if its not should just bluntly ask for a herpes test? my mom has taken me to get tested before this boyfriend before I was negative for everything but HSV cause I've never been tested for it.
